Key Features:

  • Pending Shipment Details:
    Your customers will be able to view all of their pending shipments data, and in real time.  Whenever you update the details of a shipment in Profit Tools, the new data is available online instantly.

  • Completed Shipment Details:
    Users will be able to view their full history of completed shipments.  Whenever a pending shipment has been marked as completed in Profit Tools, it will be moved automatically to the completed shipments list.

  • Quick View:
    If your customer simply needs a quick look at what the last updated shipment details are, then they need look no further than the home screen.  This feature allows for quick and easy access to the latest account activity.

  • Full Data Search:
    Just as it sounds, this feature allows users to easily search through records, and quickly locate the shipment data they need.  Users can search by TMP#, REF#, MASTER BL#, BOOKING#, or CONTAINER#, as well as search for shipments by date.

  • Document Image Records:
    If you are a Profit Tools Document Imaging user, all of your scanned shipment documents will be available online, where your customers can download, save, and print them anytime they need.

  • Rate Request:
    This form does as its name suggests, allowing users to submit Rate Requests online 24/7.  The request is delivered directly to your e-mail inbox (an additional backup copy is stored in the system database, which you can view via the admin interface).  Forms are completely customizable, so you can modify them to your exact needs.

  • Load Tender Request:
    This form also does as its name suggests, allowing users to submit Load Tender Requests online 24/7.  The request is delivered directly to your e-mail inbox (an additional backup copy is stored in the system database, which you can view via the admin interface).  Like the rate request, the Load Tender Request Form is completely customizable, so you can modify it to your exact needs.

  • Standard Status & Billing Reports:
    Allowing your customers to view their data online is great, but allowing them to take their data with them is even better.  With the Status and Billing reports feature, customers can generate detailed reports and then export them out to Excel for further manipulation of the data.

  • Custom Reporting Tool:
    When the standard Status and Billing reports just aren't enough, activeT.R.A.C. has you covered with the Report Wizard.  This tools allows your customers to generate custom reports with the data of their choosing.

  • Client Usage Tracking:
    With this feature you will be able to monitor your clients usage, enabling you to see not only how often the user accesses activeT.R.A.C., but also when they access it.

  • Alert Clients to Company News:
    When it comes time to letting clients know that you have a new company policy, a rate change, or any kind of pertinent news, there's no easier way to let them know about it than with the company news manager.  You can add content, images, and even upload documents for your customers to access 24/7/365.


  How activeT.R.A.C. Works


System Requirements:

  • Remote Desktop Access (administrative rights required), or another viable remote control alternative, such as LogMeIn.com or GoToMyPC.com

  • Open Port 443 in your router (HTTPS)
    **Note: If 443 is already in use, you may use an alternate port such as 444.

  • Profit Tools database must be accessible on your network, and be able to be accessed from the web.

  • Operating Systems: 
    Windows XP or Windows Server 2000 or newer

    *Note: Server 2008 Small Business Edition, when running Exchange Server, suffers from a know RPC proxy bug, listed in Microsoft's Knowledge Base.  Unfortunately, at the moment there is no fix.  In these cases, you will need to run a second PC on your network that can act as the web server.  Contact us for specific details.

    **For standard versions of Windows Server 2008 64 bit, please install Service Pack 2.

  • Server must be running Microsoft IIS
    *Note: on some operating systems it will be listed as "Application Server" under add/remove windows components.

  • asp.Net Framework 2.0 or better must be installed.

  • System Requires Static WAN IP (You will need to contact your ISP to acquire a static IP if you don't already have one.)

  • Users must be running any browser other than IE6 or older.  There are too many security issues with older versions of Internet Explorer, therefore we do not permit access to the system via the older browsers.  IE 7 and newer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Google Chrome will all work fine.
